The “Gone with the Wind” quest in Chrono Odyssey is where you get your first horse, Snowy. You will get a task that says, “Search through the wild herd to find Snowy.” This quest requires you to locate and tame Snowy, who is the only all-white horse in a group of wild horses out in the grasslands.

How to Start Gone with the Wind Quest

Start by going to Santove Camp, located south of Shady Vale and north of Western Vinetrap Forest. Talk to Medina, the stablemaster NPC, to get the “Gone with the Wind” quest.

After accepting the quest, follow your map marker east to the wild horse fields. This open area is where you will find the herd of wild horses.

Search through the wild herd to find Snowy & how to tame

Only the pure white horse, Snowy, can be claimed for the quest. All the other horses will just run away if you try to tame them, no matter how many times you press E.

Snowy stands out because he is completely white, but his mane and tail may look a bit grayish, so double-check before you approach.

The other horses will not let you tame them and will run off if you try. Focus on the white horse, and walk slowly from behind or the side to get close.

The best way to get close is to sneak up slowly from behind or the side. If you have the “Temporal Isolation” skill, use it to freeze the horses for a few seconds, which makes it much easier to reach Snowy and press E.

Once you press E to tame Snowy, a message will pop up saying, “Yes, this is the one.” After that, bring Snowy back to Medina at Santove Camp, and she’ll hand you a Mount Token as your reward.

Use this token at the Stable Manager to unlock Snowy. After that, you can spawn your horse anytime by pressing T.
