You can join the Cubie Derby event after you reach Union Level 8 in Wuthering Waves. The event runs from April 29, 2025, to June 11, 2025. When you unlock it, you will see a new menu called Cubie Derby Warmup. This is the first part of the event where you roll dice and move your Rover on a board.
How to Play Cubie Derby Warmup
You earn dice by finishing daily, weekly, and special event tasks in the game. Daily tasks reset every day at 4:00 AM server time, and weekly tasks reset every Monday at 4:00 AM. The special version tasks are only available once for the whole event, so try to finish them early.
You use your dice to move your Rover across a board. Every time you land on a pad, you get a reward. When you land on or pass a pad with a Cube, you get a bonus for that round. Each Cube gives a different bonus, such as extra steps or a double roll.
Rounds, Rewards, and Cube Bonuses
There are 12 rounds in total during the Cubie Derby Warmup event. Each round is a full lap around the board, and finishing a round gives you a special reward. Each round’s board offers items like Premium Tuners, Resonance Potions, Energy Cores, and Shell Credit. Some rounds give unique items, such as Phantom: Chest Mimic or Flight Aspect: The Laureate.

- Phoebe Cube: 75% chance your dice grants 1 extra step.

- Calcharo Cube: 40% chance your roll doubles.
- Cantarella Cube: 60% chance to take 2 extra steps.
- Shorekeeper Cube: 30% chance to take 3 extra steps.
You must finish all 12 rounds to get every reward. The event is limited, so use your dice every day. Bonuses from Cubes only last for the current round, so plan your moves to get the most help.
