Finding every hidden collectible in The Precinct can feel tricky, especially if you want to unlock them all without missing any. This guide for all 20 artifact safebox locations and codes will help you find every artifact and open each safebox with the right code. You will not need to guess or search for clues on your own.

Artifacts in The Precinct are special items hidden in safeboxes across the city. Each safebox has a code you need to enter to unlock it. Most codes are hidden nearby as clues, usually on sticky notes or walls. Some safeboxes are on rooftops, and others are in alleys or behind buildings. The first artifact is part of the tutorial and does not need a code.

  7. Springwood Northeast: Code is 1848. Head into the alley, look for the clue on the wall, and open the safe.
  8. Lichfield: Code is 2020. Go down an alley and check the fenced area for the clue.
  9. Ramona: Code is 1122. Find a container in the center area, then climb to the rooftop for the safe.

  11. Bayside Strip South: Code is 2300. Enter a fenced zone and check the wall for the clue.

  13. Serenity Park: Code is 1978. Find the clue between garbage boxes.
  14. Dutch Exchange: Code is 1230. Use a ladder to reach the roof and check for the clue at the top.

  20. Little Italy (South): Code is 2580. Go to the roof of the repair shop and look for the clue nearby

You can save time by heading straight to each location with the codes ready. Always check for ladders or stairs if you cannot find the safebox at ground level. Some clues are easy to spot, while others are tucked away behind objects or on rooftops. If you get stuck, check your map and look for nearby landmarks.

When you collect every artifact, you unlock extra rewards and learn more about the city’s backstory. You will also earn the “A Sharp Mind” achievement, which is a nice bonus for your effort.
