You need to reach Act 3 in the story to start looking for the swimsuit. Maelle’s swimsuit is not available early in the game, so keep playing until you reach this point. Once you are in Act 3, open your map and find the Gestral Beaches area. These beaches hold special mini-games that reward you with new outfits, including swimsuits for your party members.
Gestral Beach Minigames Loaction
Head to the northeast part of the map and look for the fifth Gestral Beach. This spot is a bit south of the fourth beach. You will need Esquie’s flying skill to reach this area, so make sure you have unlocked that ability. The Gestral Beaches all have their own mini-games, and Maelle’s swimsuit is tied to the wall climbing challenge at this beach.
How to Get Maelle Swimsuit in Clair Obscur Expedition 33
The challenge for Maelle’s swimsuit is a wall climb with falling fireballs. Start the mini-game by talking to the Grandis at the beach. You must climb to the top of the wall without getting hit by the fireballs. The right side of the wall usually has fewer fireballs, which makes it a safer path.
When you get near the top, move toward the middle since you can only finish the climb from there. Take your time and watch the fireballs. Wait for a clear path, then move up quickly. If you get hit, do not worry. You can try again as many times as you need.
Once you reach the top, talk to the Grandis. You will get Maelle’s swimsuit as your reward for finishing the challenge. This outfit is only for looks and does not change Maelle’s stats or skills
After you win the swimsuit, open your pause menu and go to the Wardrobe section. Select Maelle and choose the swimsuit from her outfit list. You can swap outfits anytime from this menu.
