Begin your hunt by heading to the bounty board in town. Accept the bounty for Avaricious Oswalt and check your map for a marked spot south of the city.

How to Find Avaricious Oswalt in Chrono Odyssey
Oswalt is located just south of the main city, at an abandoned farm. In the middle of the farm, look for some loot on the ground.
Stand near the loot and use your Temporal Tuning skill. This skill will reveal footprints that lead from the loot toward a cliff edge.
From this spot, find the ledge and jump down to the lower level. Down here, you will see several loot boxes, treasure, and crates scattered around the area. This is the loot of Avaricious Oswalt, but you might not see him right away.
Move behind the large box and use the “hide” action. Hiding behind the box will trigger a solo instance, making Avaricious Oswalt appear for your fight.
If you skip this step, Oswalt will not appear. I also missed this and ended up waiting for nothing, so always use the hiding spot to start the fight. Once he shows up, beat him in the fight and then collect your reward.
After you defeat Avaricious Oswalt, you get 1x Uncommon Warrior Meatloaf and 1x Angler Gloves as your reward.
