If you want to unlock every emote, you need to know all gesture locations in Lies of P Overture DLC. These gestures help you express yourself and are needed for the “To Be Human” trophy. There are eight gestures to find, and each one is in a different spot. This guide shows you where to look and what to do for each one.

All Gesture Locations in Lies of P Overture DLC
1. Play Dead Gesture
Location: Hall of Adventures – Krat Zoo Hall
- Go to the Hall of Adventures and enter the Krat Zoo Hall.
- Walk behind the big Mammoth statue.
- Find the book called “Discover Wildlife: Bears!” near a pillar.
- Read the book to unlock the Play Dead gesture.
If you use this gesture near Bear Carcasses, they will ignore you.
2. Tap Dance Gesture
Location: Chapter 1 – Carnival Dance section
- Go to the Carnival Dance section in Chapter 1.
- Pick up any Carnival Coin you see on the ground.
- Use the coin on the left-side building with the coin slot.
- This will unlock the Tap Dance gesture.
3. Cheer Gesture
Location: Chapter 1 – Carnival Dance section (Carnival Garden – Inside a tent near a clown)
- Go to the Carnival Garden area.
- Find the tent that has a big clown inside and a sign that says “Show Your Talent.”
- Stand in front of the clown stage.
- Use the Tap Dance gesture here.
- This will unlock the Cheer gesture.
4. Doubt Gesture
Location: Chapter 3 – Ergo Mining Site
- Go to the Ergo Mining Site in Chapter 3.
- Talk to the Crusher Puppets (the big robot workers).
- Keep talking until each one has nothing left to say.
- Do this with three Crusher Puppets to unlock the Doubt gesture.
5. Heart Gesture
Location: Pistris Harbor (after Carnival Garden)
- First, find Rosaura’s Rose Shoes and give them to her at the Carnival Garden.
- Next, go to Pistris Harbor. Look for Rosaura sitting on a bench near the Stargazer.
- Talk to Rosaura and offer her an “Ergo Crystal of The Eternal.” The biggest one works for sure, but a smaller one might also be okay.
- After you give Rosaura the Ergo Crystal, you will unlock the Heart gesture.
Note: Rosaura will only appear at Pistris Harbor if you gave her the Rose Shoes earlier at the Carnival Garden.
6. Deep Bow Gesture
Location: Chapter 4 – Archon Fleet Shipwrecks
- Go to the Archon Fleet Shipwrecks in Chapter 4.
- Walk inside the shipwreck.
- Find the note called “Correspondence from beyond the sea.”
- Read the note to unlock the Deep Bow gesture.
7. Shiver Gesture
Location: Anywhere in the DLC
- Let your freeze meter fill up until you die from freeze damage.
- When you respawn, you will have the Shiver gesture.
8. Peer into Distance Gesture
Location: Chapter 4 – Krat Lighthouse
- Go to the Krat Lighthouse in Chapter 4.
- Climb all the way to the top.
- When you reach the top of lighthouse, you will unlock the Peer into Distance gesture.
