Famous horror writer Ryukishi07 says Silent Hill f is his most important work. He put all his effort into this story. Ryukishi07 is known for his scary stories that mix normal life with deep fear.
Now, he’s writing for Konami’s new game. Set in 1960s Japan, Silent Hill f is about a teenage girl trying to survive when her town turns into a nightmare.
In a recent statement from Konami, Ryukishi07 said he worked very hard on the story for Silent Hill f. He stated, “I’ve poured all my efforts into this story, so much so that I don’t think I would mind if it was the last thing I ever wrote.” His words show how much he cares about the series, which he has loved for a long time.
The old Silent Hill games scared him a lot. He wants to show how scary things can also be beautiful in this new game. The story happens in a small town in Japan in the 1960s. This lets Ryukishi07 talk about fears people had back then.

People who like Ryukishi07’s stories know they often start calm and then get very scary. In Silent Hill f, a normal teenager named Hinako Shimizu sees her town change when a strange fog comes. The town fills with monsters and puzzles. This fits well with how Silent Hill games usually show people’s inner fears.
We don’t know when the game will come out yet, but people are getting excited. Konami says it will be a return to psychological horror.
Ryukishi07 Silent Hill f wants to make old fans happy and bring in new players. Ryukishi07 cares so much about this project that every part of it – from puzzles to music – feels important.
Silent Hill f will launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
