Many players ask how to equip a relic in Palia Elderwood, especially when starting out. This article gives you all the easy steps and tips you need. By the end, you will feel ready to use your relics every time you play.
Relics are special items you can use in Elderwood. They give you and your friends helpful powers. You cannot buy relics from shops. You have to find, craft, and equip them in a few easy steps.
How to Get Relics in Palia Elderwood

You cannot just pick up a relic or buy it in a shop. First, you need to find pieces called artifacts in Elderwood. When you collect a full set of artifacts, you get special coins called Elouisa Fun Bucks.
You can trade these coins for a relic plan at the place where you give artifacts. You will also need some stones called Enchanting Runestones and Finishing Runestones. You can get these from shops, quests, or by exploring.

After you have the plan and stones, go to the Elderwood Central Stables. The relic craft place is near the waterfall. Use this place to craft your relic. You cannot craft relics at your home.
How to Equip a Relic in Palia Elderwood
You must be at the Elderwood Central Stables to put on or change relics. You cannot do this anywhere else. Stand near the relic craft place. Open your bag or character screen.

Find the relic slot near your pets and gliders. Click the slot to see your relics. Pick the relic you want to use.
After you equip your relic, you will see a small icon or “buff” under your name in the game. This shows your relic is working. The buff icon looks like the one in the image below.

If you see this under your name, your relic is active and giving you its power.
