How to Find the Caravan Leader
The Caravan Leader is not like other merchants who stand in one spot. He is a wandering merchant who can visit your base at random times.
The Caravan Leader often appears on Sakurajima Island, especially near the large mushroom-covered cliffs where crude oil spots can be found. To make it more likely the Caravan Leader visits your base, keep your base open and simple to get into.
How to Catch the Caravan Leader
Once the Caravan Leader visits your base, here’s how to safely catch him:
- Before you try to catch the Caravan Leader, put all your Pals in the Palbox. This stops them from attacking the Caravan Leader or his guards. If they fight, it could mess things up or even hurt the Caravan Leader.
- Wear the Ring of Mercy before attacking. This item ensures you won’t accidentally kill the Caravan Leader, allowing you to reduce his health safely for capture.
- It’s best to wait until the Caravan Leader starts leaving your base. Then follow him just a bit outside. This way, his guards or Fire Pals won’t damage your base.
- Try to catch him in one throw using a strong sphere, like an Exotic or Homing Sphere. Catching him fast means his guards won’t have time to attack.
Note: If your base is made of wood, be careful. His guards and pals might have fire powers and can burn your base.
What to Do After You Catch the Caravan Leader
Once you catch him, you can bring him back anytime by spawning him from your Palbox. You can now buy items from him anytime, such as:
- Missile and rocket ammo
- Gun Ammo
- Grenades Ammo
- Powerful rings
- Energy Cartridge
- Flamethrower Fuel
- Seeds (Potatoes, Carrots, etc.)
- High-Quality Cloth
- Rare gear that you can’t get anywhere else
