In Throne and Liberty, finding the Clandestine Trade Exploration Location is a challenge that gives players exciting rewards. This guide will show you how to complete the quest using simple steps, avoid common mistakes, and get valuable prizes.
How to Find the Clandestine Trade Exploration Location
First, open your map and look for blue circle markers in the Black Anvil Forge area. These markers only appear at night, so make sure it’s nighttime in the game.

Go to one of the marked areas and search for two glowing circles on the ground—one yellow and one red.

Turning on the region’s Waypoint beforehand makes it easier to find the quest, as it shows nearby objectives on your map.
Complete the Clandestine Trade Quest
When you reach the location, wait for enemies to come out of both glowing circles. The yellow circle brings out dwarves, and the red circle brings out Arum soldiers.

Let them start talking to each other before you attack. Defeat all enemies once they begin their conversation to trigger the next part.
Then, take the items from the crate left behind to get a key, which completes the quest. If you attack too quickly, the second group won’t show up, and you’ll have to try again at another marker.

Avoid These Common Mistakes
Many players fail the Clandestine Trade Exploration location quest by attacking too quickly. Be patient—wait for both groups to appear and talk. Avoid using big attacks near the glowing circles, as they might stop the enemies from coming.
If the second group doesn’t show up, check your map for a different blue marker and try again. Remember, you can only do this quest at night; trying during the day won’t work.
Rewards for Finishing the Quest
Successfully stopping the secret trade gives you Special Medals, a unique title (Credit Security Consultant), and progress toward the Exploration Codex. These rewards make your character stronger and unlock more quests in the area.
